Our TRACK:3 clutch cover milled from solid CNC combines perfect manufacturing with high-quality materials and innovative features. All components are milled from solid material on our modern CNC machines. We only use extremely tough aerospace aluminium 7075 T6 as the material. The surface of all components is anodised in a high-quality titanium colour for protection. Other colours on request.
The Problem:
If you wear sturdy MX boots, the clutch actuation arm will interfere. The strongest part of the boot on the calf is exactly at the height of the clutch arm. You always have the feeling of having to stand "bow-legged" on the right side. The original plastic protection further exacerbates the problem.
In the event of damage to the clutch, the complete right-hand engine cover including the water pump must always be removed. Engine oil and cooling water must be drained. The large seal is often damaged after the cover has been removed. This is no fun, especially off the beaten track when the clutch is slipping, for example.
The Solution:
The arm of the clutch actuation was moved by about 35° in the direction of travel. This means that this linkage, which interferes greatly with the boot, is no longer in the contact area of the boot/lower leg.
A much better knee connection is possible and you stand much more relaxed on the right footrest.
The right-hand engine clutch cover is now split into 2 parts. Quick and easy access to the clutch is now achieved by unhooking the clutch cable and loosening the 5 screws on the outer cover. The cover seals securely to the engine with a reusable O-ring.
The TRACK:3 clutch cover is completely screwed on, no original parts need to be changed! Complete disassembly is possible without any problems.
