ZVM-X chains are the best choice for the most severe and demanding applications. Among other characteristics, the ZVMX chains feature high alloy steel plates and pins, solid bushings and rollers, shot-peening of plates, pins and rollers, performance-enhancing pre-stretching and ultra strong outer plates.
The DID 520 ZVM-X has an outstanding strength of about 3790 KN, so it is about 30% stronger than the standart 520 chains!
The X-Ring’s four contact points greatly increase its sealing performance. This keeps the dirt out and the lubrication in much better than any other O-Ring. X-Rings have the greatest wear resistance of any other type of O-Ring or non O-Ring chain.
We offer this chain in a closed (endless) or open chain version (open) with Hollow-Rivet link.

520 Pitch Front sprockets Yamaha Tenere 700 Made of very high quality steel, the sprockets meet the highest demands and thus satisfy OEM original equipment quality. The high tensile strength of the material guarantees a long service life. The special diamond-cut machining process is an innovative production method that achieves a significantly higher quality standard than conventional machined sprockets. Precision tools produce an optimised cutting pattern. At the same time, the sprocket is highly strengthened in the tooth flank area. Only the highest quality steels are used to ensure a consistently high quality to industrial standards. The pinions are machined exclusively on state-of-the-art CNC automatic lathes. Diamond-cut teeth and a case hardening of 700 HV 40 at an insert depth of 0.4 mm meet the highest quality standards. Thanks to modern broaching machines, our pinions guarantee an exact fit on the drive shaft with a radial and axial run-out tolerance of less than 0.1mm. The original transmission ratio is 15 / 46. Please keep in mind, that you may need a longer chain when using a considerably shorter transmission ratio. For 15/48, for example, you need two additional chain links, while 15/46 still works with the original chain. Does not fit oem size 525 pitch chain or rear sprocket of the 2019-2024 models.
