Reinforced D.I.D. 525 (5/8x5/16 )ZVM-X2 chain kit for Yamaha Tenere 700.
This reinforced chainkit is delivered with a high-quality ZVM-X2 chain from DID, the sprockets are high-end products 'Made in Germany'! The used chains DID 525ZVM-X2 have outstanding strength of about 4750 kg, so they are amuch stronger than most standard 525 chains!
Avaiable in different gearings. The stock gearing for the Tenere 700 is 15 front and 46 rear. Below you will find a table with the various gear ratios.
D.I.D 525 ZVM-X2 X-Ring chain (5/8 x 5/16)
ZVMX chains are the best choice for the most severe and demanding applications. Among other characteristics, the ZVMX chains feature high alloy steel plates and pins, solid bushings and rollers, shot-peening of plates, pins and rollers, performance-enhancing pre-stretching.
Chains available with gold, black, silver or steel coloured side plates.
Front and rear sprocket 525 (5/8x5/16)
The 525 chains sets are delivered weather with ESJOT or JT sprockets were specially developed for the high OEM requirements and are among the best on the market worldwide. A special steel, a special coating as well as a precise toothing in the Diamond Cut 2.0 process ensure extraordinarily high quality and durability. Optimally suited for wear-intensive conditions in all areas.
We offer this chain kits with a closed (endless) chain or an open chain version with an hollow rivet-link.

Front sprockets Yamaha Tenere 700 made of high-grade steel with 525 pitch. Made of very high quality steel, the sprockets meet the highest demands and thus satisfy OEM original equipment quality. The high tensile strength of the material guarantees a long service life. The special diamond-cut machining process is an innovative production method that achieves a significantly higher quality standard than conventional machined sprockets. Precision tools produce an optimised cutting pattern. At the same time, the sprocket is highly strengthened in the tooth flank area. Only the highest quality steels are used to ensure a consistently high quality to industrial standards. The pinions are machined exclusively on state-of-the-art CNC automatic lathes. Diamond-cut teeth and a case hardening of 700 HV 40 at an insert depth of 0.4 mm meet the highest quality standards. Thanks to modern broaching machines, our pinions guarantee an exact fit on the drive shaft with a radial and axial run-out tolerance of less than 0.1mm. The original transmission ratio is 15 / 46. Please keep in mind, that you may need a longer chain when using a considerably shorter transmission ratio.
