Fork dust seals Yamaha XT-1200Z/ZE Super Tenere
Complete set with oil seals and dust caps. These should be replaced at least every 2 years, depending on the riding performance, to ensure a perfect response of the fork. Due to aging or dirt on the fork tubes tubes, fork oil seals can be damaged. The result is a fork oil leakage at the damaged sealing rings. Leaking fork oil is very dangerous and should be avoided in time. Leaking fork oil attacks plastic, metal and painted surfaces, reduces a safe braking process when in contact with brake parts and causes unsafe grip losses on tires. For quality reasons, we only offer high quality shaft seals and dust caps with 3-fold sealing lip.

Our Tip:
Use only for your bike recommended fork oil and mount the seals with a little grease on the sealing lip. Clean the fork tube with chrome polish before mounting new seals. If the fork tubes is damaged with pitting (uneven surface) replace it. An uneven surface may damage the seals quick. Clean fork tubes regularly and grease with Teflon spray.
