Hepco-Becker crash bar slidepads for 22 and 25 mm tubes plastic
The new slidepads stylishly upgrade your crash bars with their slim design and appearance.
In addition, they protect the coating of the bar and the motorbike in the event of a crash or other contact with the ground. In this way, the pads reduce or avoid expensive damage to the motorbike or possibly save you having to replace the crash bar, for example.
Due to the damping effect of the plastic in the event of impact forces in the event of a fall, part of the impact energy can be absorbed.
The design of the component geometry, which represents a larger contact surface than the pure tube contact point in the case of ground contact, increases the effective sliding surface.
This results in only a low frictional resistance in the case of light contact, but in the case of longer, abrasive road contact, for example, the abrasive phase is shortened in terms of time and space due to the larger contact surface. This means that with the Slidepads, the time in which the motorbike slides and thus the slipping distance itself is shortened.
