Ohlins is presenting the next-generation twin-tube rear shock absorber for adventure motorcycles that provides significantly increased on-road comfort and off-road performance. The new Öhlins TTX AR-X 40 shock also is well suited to the higher loads and other operating demands of Adventure and Dual-Purpose bikes.
TTX AR-X 40 features a 40 mm (diameter) piston fitted with a high-speed blow-off valve that increases comfort and control over an impressively broad range of damping forces. The new shock is equipped with an integrated hydraulic preload adjuster that keep the preferred ride height at increased load and enables riders to increase preload at the damper by 20 mm, adjusting seat height by as much as 50 mm.
The advanced preload adjuster includes an innovative modular interface that facilitates manual adjustment.

Ohlins Adventure FKA 116 Cartridge Kit Yamaha Tenere 700 RALLY 2025 onwards, World Raid, World Rally and Tenere 700 Extreme For the Dual Sport and Adventure bikes. The Öhlins cartridge kits have now been made for the Yamaha Tenere 700. Based on the successful Öhlins NIX technology, we are proud to introduce Öhlins cartridge kits for this segment. Big sized adventure bikes used in their right element on true adventures both on and off the road can now enjoy the improved comfort and performance from an Öhlins cartridge kit. Öhlins R&D decided to go for a solution based on the successful Öhlins NIX technology to reach the goal of a cartridge that can deliver both comfort and performance, and go longer than an off-road kit between servicing. The small design of the cartridge kit makes it Easy fit in the upside down OE fork of the Tenere Yamaha 700. The kits are easy to install, just pop out the OEM kits and install the Öhlins cartridge kits instead. Thanks to the FKA 100 kits from Öhlins the bikes now has a fully adjustable front end. Rebound damping is on one leg and compression in the other leg, with adjustable spring preload in both legs. Together with an overall improved damping system, the bike is transformed and can deliver so much more. Different springs are available for riders individual demands as well as an effective hydraulic stop inside the kit to prevent bottoming. After tests we feel confident this cartridge kit improves the Tenere 700 both in terms of comfort and overall performance. Fast gravel roads on a weekend or piloting around small trails to find the perfect stop for the night demands both comfort and performance. With this kit the bike delivers that.
