If you want to see the world, you have to be prepared - and so does your motorbike. To prevent the engine block from being damaged on the 'big tour', we have developed an extremely robust engine guard for the Tenere 700. Made of carbon and Kevlar, our engine cover for the 700 Tenere is the first choice when it comes to lowest weight and extreme durability.
The sides are raised to protect the water pump and engine cover. The underside of the guard is flat so that the motorbike can be jacked up on the guard, e.g. to change tyres.
If the engine guard is to be used with a racing manifold with a larger diameter (like e.g. HP-Corse, Akrapovic etc.), please state this when ordering. The guard will then have an extended cut-out in the front.
The engine guard also fits the Euro5 version in combination with a racing manifold!

Note: When fitting a racing manifold, it may sometimes be necessary to slightly widen the front left-hand ventilation opening in the engine guard due to the larger cross-section of the manifold.
