Mounted on top of the Yamaha Tenere 700 air box the stock airbox snorkel breathes hot air from under the fueltank heated up by the engine. This is not a good solution for power and can also cause a damage of the engine from overheating! This problem can be solved very easy by using this new rubber and metal made airbox inlett. Just replace the stock part with this new inlett. This new Stage 2 Air Box Cover is a CNC machined out of billet black polyamide 6, and designed to work exclusively with the DNA stock replacement, the oem and most aftermarket air filter. Correctly used it will increase the airflow, torque and power of the engine. Installation info are included with this new DNA Stage 2 Air Box Cover and fuel injection recalibration is necessary. The airflow of this new DNA Stage2 Air Box Cover combined always with the DNA Stage 1 Air Filter is 179.76% over the Yamaha stock application! DNA S1 & S2 air filter flow: 171.30 CFM (Cubic feet per minute) @1,5"H2O corrected @ 25degrees Celsius. TWIN AIR High-Flow Foam off-road Filter Yamaha Tenere 700 Twin Air developed a new Foam Air Filter solution for the Yamaha Ténéré 700. This unique wasable filter system prevent that dust and mud fill-up your o.e.m airfilter during your off-road adventure in muddy and dusty circumstances. The OEM air intake needs to be removed first before installing the Twin Air Filter and aluminum cage. The Twin Air Filter Kit is used as a pre-filter on top of the OEM paper or aftermarket filter as extra protection. The installation is very easy using the OEM bolts. By installing the Twin Air filter Kit the airflow will improve and the filter offers more protection from sand, dust and water. This kit includes a Pre-Oiled Foam Air Filter (FR) and machined and anodised aluminum flange.
