JT has developed a new off-road sprocket featuring a super-strong steel outer ring and a super-light aluminium core
The outer steel teeth are made from induction-hardened steel with a very high carbon content, guaranteeing maximum mileage – using an advanced hardening process, JT achieves a hardness that lasts six times longer than that of a 7075-T6 aluminium sprocket and improves power transmission
The super-light aluminium core is made from T7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium – precision-manufactured using state-of-the-art laser cutting and CNC equipment, resulting in an extremely lightweight and race-proven design – a special heat treatment ensures a perfect fit between both components
