Scottoiler E3.1 Chain lubrication system, Green

The Scottoiler is the benchmark for motorcycle chain lube systems and is the latest edition of the market-leading vacuum operated Scottoiler. When you connect a vSystem motorcycle chain oiler to your bike, you have a chain oiler that automatically gets to work when you start your engine. The Scottoiler increases the life of your motorcycle chain & sprockets by up to 7 times and improves performance. Also it significantly reduces motorbike chain maintenance. So you save time, money and hassle.

How does the Scottoiler work?
The oil is simply siphoned from the reservoir by gravity, the engine vacuum provides the power to open the valve and the dial at the top allows you to adjust the flow rate by opening/closing the valve aperture.

The main components of the kit are a Reservoir Metering Valve (RMV) an injector (which feeds oil onto the chain and sprocket from the chain oiler) a bottle of Scottoiler motorcycle chain lube suitable for approximately 5,000 miles & various parts required for the different fitting options.

The e-System E3.1 is our award winning, premium motorcycle chain lubrication system and the flagship model from Scottoiler.  Voted MCN Product of the Year 2009 (Accessory) it has fantastic technical features while ease of installation & on the road performance combine to create the easiest motorcycle chain maintenance tool we have ever developed.

As the most advanced electronic chain oiling system in the world, the Scottoiler eSystem v3.1 is designed for the biker who wants total control over their bike and it’s health - this including ultra-precise chain-oiling, of course. Connecting to your bike’s battery, the eSystem LED Display sits between your handlebars, allowing you to adjust oil flow-rates with ease.

The eSystem reservoir can be easily installed on the mainframe of the bike, with dispenser, cabling and oil provided to easily fit the dispenser above the sprocket face for optimal lubrication.

The Scottoiler eSystem v3.1 builds on the previously popular eSystem models with several software and hardware improvements for 2020!

Self-calibration is now introduced, allowing you to get to what matters most quickly - riding hassle free! As well as this, further flow-rate settings have been introduced primarily at the lower end of the scale to allow for more precision particularly in wavering climates.

Furthermore, following popular demand, the eSystem v3.1 now retains all pre-established settings, even when disconnected from the battery! Leaving your bike over winter? Holiday planned? It’s now even quicker to get on the road and not have to worry about adjusting your settings - unless you want to.

The eSystem is an electronically pumped motorbike chain oiler requiring only a small power feed from the battery to operate. It can be installed to most bikes in under an hour by connecting the wiring loom supplied to the battery and then simply mounting the system hardware. This plug and play connectivity means the eSystem is the easiest electronic motorcycle chain oiler ever developed.  Unlike some other products there is no complicated wiring or tapping into speedometers or switches.

When fitted to your bike the eSystems senses vibration and movement using a triple axis accelerometer, using technology derived from MotoGP.  The motorcycle chain lubrication system displays this information on the screen along with the flow rate, temperature in Celcius and oil level alongside the accelerometer readout in ‘G’.

For some bikes we offer free of charge adapter upgrades to give you the best install solution possible.  Check out the install guide for your bike to find out what’s involved and take a look at the quick set up guide to see how easy it is to fit.

Scottoiler chain oil Standard Blue
Scottoiler chain oil Standard Blue

Available, delivery time: 1-3 days

Scottoiler special oil for use in the Scottoiler E, X or V system. Scottoil comes in 3 different versions: Standard Blue, High Temperature Red or All Climate Biodegradable Green What’s the difference? All oils have the same chemical make up although the High Temperature Red is more viscous and therefore slightly thicker, meaning it will flow more slowly in higher temperatures than Standard blue or AllClimate green Scottoil.  Other than that, they’re the same and can even be mixed. So if you’re changing over from one oil to the other there’s no need to drain the system and start again, they’ll blend, saving you waste. Which one do you need? Your choice of oils is dependent on the average riding temperatures you usually experience.  Between 0-30°C we would recommend Standard Blue Scottoil.  For higher average temperatures go for red as it will be a more suitable lubricant on the chain and will also be easy to regulate through the vacuum operated systems. The High Temp Red Oil has an operating range of 20-40°C. In some cases we would recommend you use High Temperature Red Scottoil if your reservoir is located near a hot spot on the engine, as this will warm the oil in the reservoir to the operating range more suited to the red oil. 500ml Scottoil lasts for around 25.000 kilometers. One bottle oil is enough to refill the reservoir 10 times or to fill the Magnum tank (optional system) once completely. The smaller bottles (250ml) are optimal for drivers who drive not that much but want to have a backup for longer rides.
