SCOTTS Performance steering damper Sub mount kit Yamaha Tenere 700
The steering damper sub-mount kit for the Yamaha Tenere 700 includes a cnc machined mounting set and new handlebar clamps with 28.6mm clamping diameter for the oem handlebar. The mounting parts are made of cnc machined, high-grade aircraft aluminium (T7075), black anodised. The bolt-on cnc machined frame bracket is made of nickel-plated steel steel.
Due to an additional eccentric design of the handlebar clamps, the handlebars can be mounted in the original position or 10mm forward in the direction of travel. The 10mm offset position of the handlebars is particularly advantageous when riding at a faster pace and brings more pressure to the front wheel.
All parts are fully bolt-on! You do not have to weld on the frame. All needed mounting parts are included.

Scotts Steering Damper, off-road type, stepped arm, LKM-4032-40 The Scotts Performance steering damper unit is a compact, fully adjustable, hydraulic shock absorbing damper that mounts to your steering head area right above your handlebar mount. By helping to stabilize the front end of your motorcycle, the rear of the motorcycle will track straighter allowing the rest of your suspension to work the way it was designed to. In addition, the Scotts Steering Stabilizer eliminates that sudden "thrust" affect of having the handlebars pulled from your hands after unknowingly hitting something unforeseen like rocks, tree roots or rain ruts. It has also helps to minimize rider fatigue and the dreaded arm-pumping situation that occurs while wrestling the front end of your bike. Once mounted, it dramatically reduces the unwanted phenomenon known as "Head-shake" that is commonly found on ALL off-road production motorcycles. This is more predominant now a-days due to the steeper head angles you find on production bikes.
