Dynojet Autotune 2-cylinder add-on module for Power Commander V or 6 which allows for live, closed loop EFI tuning. Based closely on Dynojet's Wideband Commander it features a OEM quality Bosch Wideband O2 sensor. The Auto tune module allows users set a demanded air/fuel ratio in the Power Commander software and the Auto tune will make adjustments in real time. When enabled there is an AFR table with the same 250 RPM increment resolution as the fuel table. The Auto tune can be configured for minimum run time before live sample as well as maximum +/- fuel adjustments in relation to the base map. The Auto Tune kit can also use the Dynojet map switch or any open/closed switch which allows the user to switch between live tuning to the parameters set thru the PC V software or the base map in the PC V unit. You can leave the map switch in "live" mode, or if you want to write the fuel map you can connect to the PC V software, retrieve the fuel trims and either write them to the map or clear them. We have also compared several Auto Tune derived maps to dyno tuned maps and the results were impressive. A very important requirement for building a good tune is to have a close base map to start out with, as the Auto Tune writes its fuel trims off the base PC V map. The Auto Tune module does require some basic wiring from the sensor harness into the modules. The Auto Tune module is a very good choice for those with a unique mods, where a dyno is not available, or for those looking for the ability to tune in real time. The ultimate combination we recommend is combining a full dyno tune session with the Auto tune. We build the map for the best combination of performance and efficiency, and then implement the AFR's we developed into the Auto Tune AFR table. This strategy will provide the best performance under all conditions. "Well, how does it work and what does it do for me?" We have taken virtually the same technology that our patented Tuning Link dynamometer software (for automated Dyno tuning) uses, along with Bosch Wide Band O2 sensors and miniaturized it to be used on your bike, ATV, or UTV, while you ride. Once installed, the Auto Tune kit monitors the fuel mixture (by installing the included Wide Band O2 sensor in the exhaust). It then sends this information to the Power Commander V and automatically corrects it while you ride. Each map that we offer has preset Air/Fuel ratio values included that we find to be the best overall settings. This lets you simply plug in the unit and let it do the work. For advanced users that would like to change the Air/Fuel ratios from our baseline they are fully adjustable (for each cylinder seperately!). Each throttle opening/rpm combination is individually adjustable, so that you can have both fuel economy, during cruise, while maintaining peak output at larger throttle openings. For most models of bikes it is also possible to adjust the Air/Fuel ratios "per gear". ECU Re- Flash Yamaha XT1200Z Super Tenere Due to different environment protection laws the Yamaha XT1200Z and XT1200ZE Supere Tenere unfortunatelly is delivered with a electronic gear restriction in the lower gears. What makes the politicans happy is a pain in the a... of each Tenere rider! The new 2012 bikes have a new, different ECU, so for us it is important that you choose the correct modification! Due to the restriction the throttle flaps do not open to 100% - and they do not open when you want it - they open when the electronic wants it! This causes a decrease of the engine power up to 25% in some speed ranges - and of course a reduction in fun! We now have the possibility to remove this useless restriction - unleash your TENERE and make it real SUPER! Now the throttle flaps open like you want! For the typical use of the XT1200, e.g. in the alps or on small, winding alleyways this offers you a big gain in power, as you use the bike often in the lower gears. The annoying power loss in the mid range totally disapears - at about 5.500 r/pM you have a gain in torque of about 25 Nm and 20 hp ! Overtaking, driving in the mountains with co-passenger and luggage or a simple fast ride - every accelerating action with the bikes becomes much easier. Our ECU reflash will remove factory throttle restrictions totally. The ABS and the tracktion control will not be touched and still work like in the stock bike. You still have the possibility to use both drive mods 'Touring' and 'Sports', even the mods TCS-1 , TCS-2 and TCS off are still working! A remap to the stock state of the ECU is always possible! For the remapping of the ECU we need your device for about a half day here in our Cologne workshop. Depending on the postage time you have back your ECU after a couple of days! And you will not recogize your Super Tenere again - Promissed!!!
