With this 20 mm piston cartridge kit you can now upgrade your standard 43 mm Paioli XT-660Z fork to a fully adjustable including adjustable spring preload! Adjustable compression and rebound and adjustable spring pre-load. The cartridge is equipped with a sophisticated hydraulic system that ensures the adjustment in compression, extension and preload of the spring, with adjustments placed directly on the upper cap of the cartridge in order to guarantee easy access to the set-up.   We offer installation of the Cartridge in your fork here in our workshop. Excel rim and spoke sets for the Yamaha XT660Z and ZA models 2008 onwards.   On long distance travels you often find the most weak point of many original Yamaha wheels - the rim! Our EXCEL rims with the reindorced stainless spokes will solve this problem for sure! The rims are manufactured with profiles made of aluminium of the 7000 series. The manufacturing process is supported by highly automated production lines and allows for the most extreme strain of sports driving. Made to the highest specifications, Excel rims have been a guarantee of the ultimate in quality for many years. Due to aging or dirt on the fork tubes tubes, fork oil seals can be damaged. The result is a fork oil leakage at the damaged sealing rings. Leaking fork oil is very dangerous and should be avoided in time. Leaking fork oil attacks plastic, metal and painted surfaces, reduces a safe braking process when in contact with brake parts and causes unsafe grip losses on tires. For quality reasons, we only offer high quality shaft seals and dust caps with 3-fold sealing lip. · better breakaway torque and up to 3x less friction than OE Simmerrings · Patented Max-Life manufacture, which increases the life span by 3-4 times · fork seals have 3 sealing lips · Dust caps are coated with a special grease to improve the response Our Tip: Use only for your bike recommended fork oil and mount the seals with a little grease on the sealing lip. HYPERPRO-Forksprings distinguish themselves by their continuous increase of the spring rate (Link-System Curve) in the whole range. They have been especially developed and tested for the XT-660Z. The manufacturing process has been made perfect: First-class, high-alloyed chrome-silicon-steel is used exclusivley. It is nearly tolerance freely coiled on computer-operated machines. The manufacturing is carried out according to DIN 2095. At the end, the outside of the springs is polished in order to achieve a minimal friction value. Of course, the forkspring sets are delivered with a TÜV-Certificate. The fork springs are delivered with 1 liter fork oil! Why progressive springs? · Using a linear, "normal" standard spring, all turns of the spring get loaded with the same weight at the same time. Imagine a spring with 10 turns at intervals of 1 cm - if you push the spring down 1 cm it shortens 1 cm, thus, the intervals between the single turns shorten to 0.9 cm. Using a two-step spring, half of the coils have a shorter interval. When the spring is compressed, the intervals shorten. At a certain point, the coils of the closer turns contact. · The spring "blocs" and stiffens. Now, only the turns with a greater interval keep working. The suspension comfort and the vehicle response drop rapidly. · Unfortunately, one needs more than 2 steps for driving because the powers occur progressively. That means, hardly any powers are needed to let the spring deflect. Though, the higher the power which affect the carriage, the more antagonising power of the spring. Öhlins linear fork springs for Yamaha XT-660Z Tenere from 2008 - 2016   Replacing the fork springs is a cost-effective and efficient way to improve the front fork of the XT660Z Tenere. Together with the specially developed fork oil from Öhlins, the response and performance of the original fork can be significantly increased.   Depending on motorcycle type, rider weight and personal preferences and in combination with an indivuelle air chamber and oil viscosity improves the driving behavior noticeably. Best material selection and precise manufacturing guarantee a maximum of 1.5% deviation in the spring rate of Öhlins fork springs. The fork springs are made of high quality chrome silicon spring steel, are linear wound, slightly firmer than the original springs, but finer from the response. Lifetime warranty!
