DNA High Flow air filter for all Yamaha XT-660R and XT660X from 2004 onwards.
The exchange airfilters simply replace the standard airfilter. The airfilter box doesn't have to be modified. Up to 40% more air flow in comparision to the standard paper filter. The filter only has to be cleaned when it has a 2-3mm thick layer of dirt. Cleaning only each approx. 80.000km. No more filter change - the oil impregnated cotton fabric of the filter ensures a maintenance-free life. The filter merely hast to be cleaned and oiled overy now and then. The DNA Exchange airfilter improves the performance: because of the better air flow the mixture volume is build up and provided more quickly. The engine reacts more spontaneously when accelerating. It also converts the faster filling of the cylinder into a better acceleration. In addition, this high flow filter is often able to correct the losses which are caused by complicated ways of air supply and airfilter boxes which often constitute a compromise between space proportion and effectivity.

When the filter is dirty simply follow the instructions that you can find in the service kit, allow the filter to dry, reoil and you are ready to use your filter again, like new!

DNA Cleaner and degreaser DNA Air Filter Cleaner is the only cleaner formulated to clean cotton mesh filters like DNA and K&N Filtercharger elements. The use of any other cleaning solution can void the filter's warranty, and quite possibly could damage the cotton material. DNA's Cleaner works to dissolve the dirt build up and old filter oil, and can be washed away with water. Complete instructions on bottle. 0.27L squeese bottle. DNA Filtercharger oil DNA's Air Filter Oil is the only oil specially formulated to work in combination with the cotton fabric in DNA or K&N Filtercharger elements providing a superior air filtration system. When used as directed, it quickly penetrates the filter pleats, where it remains suspended in the cotton fabric.
