CNC-machined upper triple clamp for the Yamaha XT-1200Z Super Tenere with integrated steering damper.

The ingenious point of this design is the fully adjustable handlebar position. The handlebar clamps can be moved for- or backwards 5 mm. Also an additional +/-5 mm adjustable handlebar position is realized through eccentric threaded handlebar clamps. So the handlebar can be offset +/-10mm for- and backward. Also the height of the handlebar can be chosen nearly without restrictions. The height can be adjusted in steps of 10 mm with special bushings. Compared to the stock position a height of -10 mm up to +50 mm are possible. Longer cables / wires may be needed depending on a height more than 30 mm compared to stock position.

The used high-end steering damper expresses with it's low weight, the perfect adjustment range (25 clicks) and very good response characteristic. Designed to prevent headshake, arm-pump and wheel deflection caused by rocks, roots, square edges and acceleration bumps. The damper itself is compact, fully adjustable, hydraulic shock absorbing damper that mounts to your steering head area right below your handlebar clamps withz cnc machined brackets. By helping to stabilize the front end of your motorcycle, the rear of the motorcycle will track straighter allowing the rest of your suspension to work better. In addition, the Scotts Steering Stabilizer eliminates that sudden “jolt” affect of having the handlebars pulled from your hands after unknowingly hitting something unforeseen like rocks, tree roots or rain ruts. It has also helps to minimize rider fatigue and the dreaded arm-pumping situation that occurs while wrestling the front end of your bike. Once mounted, it dramatically reduces the unwanted phenomenon known as “head-shake” that is commonly found on all off-road production motorcycles. It helps keep your motorcycle going straight in the whoops and smooths out those rough sections by preventing those handlebar wrenching jolts.

Exact this damper is used by a lot of Rally teams all over the world - and we use this stabilizer in all our Rally and Adventure bikes.

The thickness of the triple clamp is 30 mm. The stock yoke is only 20 mm high. Cut-out pockets at the bottom of our yoke minimizing the weight without a reduction of the strength.With it's fully compatibility of the steering lock mechanism and mounting possibility a steering damper (additional parts required) the triple clamp increases the visual appeal of your bike. Fully CNC machined from solid Aircraft-Grade billet aluminum, our OTR triple clamp is stronger than the stock Yamaha unit, but light in weight as well. The triple clamp is made from high grade aluminium (7075) and comes silver, titanium or black anodized. Other colours are possible with additional charge.

The set comes with a TÜV certificate for road legal use.
