Magura Hymec Hydraulic Clutch Yamaha XT-660Z Tenere
Magura Hydraulic clutch for the Yamaha XT-660Z Tenere models. Constant pressure point, automatic adjustment, no need for maintenance, extremely good to batch, less operation power required, less weight. With an adjustable lever width, the HYMEC offers high ergonomics and the "fold-away" function prevents breakage when the motorbike falls over.
Available in the standard length and an 8cm longer hose version for use with high handlebars or higher handlebar risers.
MAGURA HYMEC - an easy-to-fit alternative to the mechanical clutch. With this system, the clutch lever and cable are replaced by a lightweight hydraulic system to improve clutch control. Hymec guarantees lower operating pressure, a constant pressure point, eliminates the hassle of cable adjustments and the very light clutch actuation ensures a perfect start every time. Hymec significantly improves driving performance - allowing the rider to feel the point at which the clutch is depressed and released. This product has been developed over many years and tested under the toughest imaginable off-road motorsport conditions. The world champions who have used it agree on its advantages, but the novice driver also benefits from it, for example when stopping at traffic lights.
Hose available in a standard length or in a +8cm version to be used with high handlebars or risers.

How does the hydraulic system work?
 The functional principle of the hydraulic system has been millionfold proved. It is based on the fact, that liquids cannot be compressed.
On one side of line, the piston puts pressure on the liquid. The signal is transmitted to the piston on the other side of the line.  The size of the pistons defines the transmission ratio. If the face of the giver had half the size than that of the taker, the power of the taker would be double the giver's. The distance covered at the taker gets shorter due to the transmission.
Compared to the serial clutch, the Hymec is much better in terms of effort and dosing ability. If you ever tried the Hymec, you would never give it back.
The assembled hydraulic clutch just has to exchanged for the stock clutch. No modifications on the bike necessary!
