OTR/TFX 140 Emulsions shock with hydraulic Preload Adjuster Yamaha XT-660R - XT660X
TFX also offers a great budget priced emulsion shock with hydraulic preload adjuster for the Yamaha XT-660R and XT-660X Super-Moto. We do not recommend this Typ 140 Emulsion shocks for harder off-road use, please check 141 version with external reservoir.
Each shock is custom made for the needs of daily traveller and trail / touring riders or Super-Moto use.
Key features of this shock are very good quality, the adjustable rebound and fully adjustable hydraulic spring preload.

The TFX shocks are custom-built and are personalized to your needs and expectations. The shocks are suited for street and traveling. They will give you the comfort, control, safety and durability you need and ask from your shock absorbers. The shocks are engineered and manufactured from the best materials to guarantee you a shock you can rely on for many years and which will full fill your needs on the road or track.
Shocks are the connecting link between the bike and the street with a high influence in riding comfort - so do not make any compromises at this point! The  shocks are custom made and personalized to your needs. Due to the wide adjustment range of the rebound and the preload (also hydraulic when ordered) the set-up of the damper can also easily changed and adjusted by yourself. This shock combines great comfort, perfect damping, robustness and longevity - so everything a good shock needs.

All TFX shocks are custom-built for each bike and each driver. That means, that you have to wait a little bit, till you get YOUR OTR/TFX shock. But not longer than about 8-10 days.
The set up for each shock in the damping as also in the springs are tested on and off-road to get the best results. They are the results of true tests with the Tenere under real conditions and no guesswork!
All OTR/TFX shocks work with the "de Carbon" concept. This shock is a high pressure monotube type. The fluid is put under gas pressure and the gas and the fluid are kept apart by a separating piston. The piston is fitted in an external reservoir. This will give you the advantage of stabil suspension work even in the worst conditions.
