The handlebar position can be varied +/- 5mm forwards/backwards. It can also be combined with our handlebar riser for the Tenere 700. This allows the handlebars to be raised by 20 or 30 mm.   The steering damper is mounted below the new handlebar clamps on a CNC-machined bracket. Thanks to an additional eccentric design of the handlebar clamps, the handlebars can be mounted in the original position or 10 mm further away from the rider. Hyperpro Lowering Kit -25 mm Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid / World Rally / Extreme This fork spring kit is made to lower the front height of the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid for about 35 mm. In combination with fitting lowering bones, the height of the Yamaha Tenere will also be good for smaller riders. Seat height will go down for about 35-40 mm, depending on the lowering kit. The included progressive lowering fork springs can be used to lower the frontend of the motorcycle when it is not possible to lower the forks through the yokes (triple clamps). Perfect for smaller riders. Also a security feature if your feeto do not touch the ground perfectly. With these springs you get the bike lowered without having negative effects on the suspension. Hyperpro Lowering Kit -35 mm Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid / World Rally / Extreme This fork spring kit is made to lower the front height of the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid / World Rally and Extreme for about 35 mm. In combination with fitting lowering bones, the height of the Yamaha Tenere will also be good for smaller riders. Seat height will go down for about 35-40 mm, depending on the lowering kit. The included progressive lowering fork springs can be used to lower the frontend of the motorcycle when it is not possible to lower the forks through the yokes (triple clamps). Perfect for smaller riders. Also a security feature if your feeto do not touch the ground perfectly. With these springs you get the bike lowered without having negative effects on the suspension. Hyperpro advises to lower both front and rear of the motorcycle to be assured of the best result. Rear can be lowered by lowering links or a custom made shock. See accessories. Imagine a spring with 10 turns at intervals of 1 cm - if you push the spring down 1 cm it shortens 1 cm, thus, the intervals between the single turns shorten to 0.9 cm. Using a two-step spring, half of the coils have a shorter interval. When the spring is compressed, the intervals shorten. At a certain point, the coils of the closer turns contact. · The spring "blocs" and stiffens. Now, only the turns with a greater interval keep working. The suspension comfort and the vehicle response drop rapidly. · Unfortunately, one needs more than 2 steps for driving because the powers occur progressively. That means, hardly any powers are needed to let the spring deflect. Though, the higher the power which affect the carriage, the more antagonising power of the spring. The result is a n essentially improved drivability, an improved braking action (because the front does not descend as much), an increased stability - and thus, an overall improved driving safety.
